Job summary

Staffline is seeking a Warehouse Operative to perform receiving, picking, and packing of stock in a busy distribution environment in the United Kingdom. The role includes inventory tasks, data entry, cycle counting, and put-away activities, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The ideal candidate has attention to detail, customer service orientation, and the ability to work well in a team while showing initiative. Training is provided, and forklift licenses are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail, and an accurate way of working to ensure all documentation and data is correct.
• The quality of work is the main consideration, so a good level of attention to detail is required.
• Understanding the need for a high level of customer service
• Ability to work as a part of a team but also show initiative when required to work independently.
• Counterbalance Forklift and Reach Truck licenses would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, picking, and packing stock in a safe and efficient manner
• Completing a range of warehouse inventory
• Data input and related admin tasks
• Cycle counting of stock within the warehouse.
• Stock Put away from deliveries
• Operating in a safe manner, in accordance with training provided
• Working alongside Team Members to achieve targets and meet customer expectations.
