Barker Ross is recruiting a Stock Controller for a busy logistics operation based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The role involves stock control, administration, and on-warehouse tasks to resolve discrepancies. The position is a 4 on 4 off shift (06:00–18:00) with training in PPT and potential progression to Reach Truck and VNA.
This temp-to-perm opportunity offers long-term development in stock control and MHE skills within an established logistics environment.
Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join a busy logistics operation based in Banbury, OX16.
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or stock experience who is looking for a long term position with the opportunity to develop additional MHE skills.
The role will involve a mixture of stock control, administration and working within the warehouse to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
4 on 4 off
You do not need to already hold all MHE licences for this position.
Successful candidates will be trained and upskilled on PPT, followed by the opportunity to progress onto Reach Truck and VNA training.
This makes the position a great opportunity for someone looking to develop both their stock control and MHE experience.
Successful candidates will initially attend an interview for the Stock Controller position.
If successful at interview, you will then complete the site induction before starting the role.

The role requires someone who is comfortable working both with systems and out on the warehouse floor rather than being purely office based.
Suitable for candidates with experience as: FLT Driver, Reach Truck Driver, Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Order Picker, Picker/Packer, PPT Driver, Counterbalance Driver, Goods In Operative, Goods Out Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, General Operative, Factory Worker, Logistics Operative and other warehouse or industrial roles.
