An established industry player is seeking a meticulous Stock Controller to manage stock operations across multiple sites. This full-time role requires a detail-oriented individual with proven experience in warehouse management and stock control systems. You will be responsible for tracking stock movements, implementing efficient systems, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Equans is looking for a Stock Controller to join our team based in Andover on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £34,320 per annum which includes a standby allowance of £2,820 and benefits package.
The role encompasses a comprehensive responsibility for managing stock-related operations across both the Andover and Sizewell ERC sites, ensuring adherence to contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining stringent standards of equipment compliance and maintenance. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, proactive forecasting, and the development of robust stock control systems to optimise efficiency and safety across both locations.
Overseeing the tracking of stock movements at both the Andover and Sizewell ERC sites, meticulously accounting for all inbound and outbound transactions
Implementing and refining comprehensive systems for stock control, incorporating electronic and paper-based methods to maintain accurate records across both locations
Proactively forecasting stock requirements for upcoming work at both locations and ordering necessary parts and consumables accordingly
Conducting regular physical stock counts at both sites, promptly reporting discrepancies and updating inventory records
Regularly verifying the condition and expiration dates of equipment to ensure it remains deployable at all times
Continuously enhancing stock control systems to optimise efficiency and accuracy across both sites
Overseeing asset identification, tagging, and inventory management at both locations
On offer is a salary of £34,320 per annum which includes a standby allowance of £2,820and benefits package, which includes;
Proven experience in Warehouse Management Systems
Experience in internal and external audit using both barcode and manual accounting systems
Must be computer literate especially in Excel
Credible experience in a previous stock control role with a sound understanding of stock control methods and best practice
Methodical and detailed approach to data accuracy is essential
This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
