We are currently seeking an experienced EHC Plan Writer to join a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team on a remote basis. This role requires a professional with substantial experience in crafting high-quality, robust Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Key Responsibilities:
Write clear, concise, and legally compliant EHCPs that reflect the child or young person's needs, outcomes, and provision.
Work collaboratively with SEND professionals, families, and education settings to gather and interpret relevant reports and information.
Ensure all plans adhere to current legislation, statutory guidance, and local authority standards.
Proven experience working within a local authority SEND team.
Demonstrable track record of writing good quality EHCPs.
Excellent organisational, analytical, and written communication skills.
A detailed understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
Experience as a SEND Caseworker - if applicable, the rate is open to negotiation based on skills and expertise.
Working Arrangement:
Fully remote with flexible working hours.
