Job summary

Teknikal Global is seeking a Maintenance Stock Control & Parts Coordinator on a Monday to Friday 09:30am - 5:30pm shift. The role offers £27-28k as a temp to perm opportunity in a busy industrial environment, focusing on ensuring critical spare parts and consumables are available for a recycling plant and mobile fleet.

You will manage workshop inventory, receive and record deliveries, perform cycle counts, and maintain stock levels with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, stores, inventory, or parts management.
• Background in engineering, manufacturing, recycling, automotive, or industrial environments.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain workshop inventory, parts, tools, and consumables.
• Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming deliveries.
• Maintain detailed inventory and delivery records within the stock management system.
• Carry out regular stock checks, cycle counts, and full audits.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum/maximum reorder quantities.
• Organise and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient stores environment.
• Process damaged, defective, or missing goods claims with suppliers.
• Safely move and store heavy components using forklifts, pallet trucks, hoists, and other handling equipment.
• Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations and workshop safety standards.
• Support maintenance teams by ensuring critical spare parts are available when needed.
