Job summary

Fairfax Meadow, part of Sysco GB, is recruiting for a Stock Control Operative in its Derby site. The role focuses on stock receiving, handling, monitoring and paperwork recording, with responsibilities to deliver stock to departments from chilled and frozen areas.

You will work 08:00–18:00, Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, in a production environment that emphasises food safety, accuracy and proactive work. Benefits include a pension, holiday and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production-based role, preferably in a factory.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain food safety standards.
• Accurate with figures and comfortable using a computer.

Responsibilities

• Receive stock and handle it for departments across the site.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Enter product information into the computer system and rotate stock.
• Assist in delivering stock from chilled and frozen areas to the correct departments.

Join us as Stock Control Operative and help to assist with the day-to-day duties of stock receiving, handling, monitoring & paperwork recording. A satisfying role As a Stock Control Operative, your ability to work on your own initiative and with a focus on food safety. You will assist in delivering the stock to the respective departments from chilled and frozen areas. You will have the responsibility for checking specifications and production information, entering product information into the computer system and stock rotation.
