Job summary

Fairfax Meadow, part of Sysco GB, is seeking a Stock Control Operative in Derby. You will manage stock from receipt to department delivery, ensuring accurate data entry and strict stock rotation.

Hours are 08:00–18:00, Monday to Friday, totaling 45 hours per week. The role offers a pension scheme, generous holiday, health cash plan, and staff discounts as part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar production based role, ideally within a factory environment.
• Able to work to food safety standards and maintain accurate records.
• Capable of using computer systems to enter product information and manage stock rotation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, handle and monitor stock; record paperwork and data entries.
• Help deliver stock to departments from chilled and frozen areas.
• Check specifications and production information; input data into the computer system.
• Maintain stock rotation and accurate records; work with initiative and attention to detail.

Fairfax Meadow us the UK's favourite foodservice catering butcher and has been putting great meat on the menu for over 50 years. Join us as Stock Control Operative and help to assist with the day-to-day duties of stock receiving, handling, monitoring & paperwork recording. A satisfying role As a Stock Control Operative, your ability to work on your own initiative and with a focus on food safety. You will assist in delivering the stock to the respective departments from chilled and frozen areas. You will have the responsibility for checking specifications and production information, entering product information into the computer system and stock rotation.
