Job summary

Commercial Recruitment is supporting a client in Huntingdon seeking a Stock Control / Business Administrator. The role covers stock control, purchasing, logistics and general admin, with emphasis on accuracy and organised workload management.

Key tasks include stock control across suppliers, using Microsoft Business Central, maintaining traceability, and supporting invoicing and reporting. A proactive, detail-focused candidate will thrive in this varied, office-based role.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in stock or inventory management.
• Previous office experience with strong organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock across multiple suppliers and maintain accurate records.
• Record and monitor lot and serial numbers; conduct cycle counts.
• Raise purchase orders and oversee goods-in, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates and lead times; adjust forecasts.
• Support loan kit management and inventory reconciliation.
• Input daily product usage and assist sales order process.
• Assist with invoicing and respond to supplier queries.
• Produce weekly/monthly stock reports and support audits.
