Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a Stock and Administration Clerk to maintain stock accuracy across fresh, chilled, frozen and ambient ranges. You will manage department administration, support operational activities, and assist the Warehouse team as needed.

The role requires strong communication, intermediate MS Office skills, data entry capability, and prior stock control experience. Attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical skills and data entry accuracy.
• Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
• Experience in stock control or warehouse administration.
• Working knowledge of logistics and store operations.
• Current FLT reach truck licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Release Daily Pick with accurate data entry.
• Manage product shelf life and stock levels.
• Verify stock: pack sizes, quantity, price, and best‑before dates.
• Handle returns to suppliers/depots and liaise with suppliers.
• Maintain clear communication channels with internal/external stakeholders.
• Support stock takes and production of daily/weekly reports.
