Job summary

Apex M&E Solutions Ltd is hiring Stock Condition Surveyors for contract roles in the Birmingham area. You will conduct property inspections and surveys, support asset data programmes, and prepare technical reports for local authorities and public sector clients.

DBS clearance is essential due to surveys in occupied residential and public sector environments. Typical workload ranges from 30 to 60 surveys weekly with varied rate per property type, and on-site surveying will be required across

Qualifications

Experience in stock condition surveys or asset management is beneficial.
DBS clearance or ability to obtain DBS clearance.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Contract role in the Birmingham area with field surveying duties.

Responsibilities

Undertaking condition surveys and inspections.
Preparing technical reports and recommendations.
Supporting life cycle planning and asset management activities.
Identifying defects, compliance issues, and maintenance requirements.
Supporting project delivery, contract administration, and tenant liaison to maximise access and survey completion.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards such as the decent homes act & Awaab's Law.
