Stephens Bakery in Scotland is seeking a Senior Retail Assistant for a 30 hour/week role, based in Leven or Kirkcaldy. You will lead daily shop routines, run shifts, and support the Shop/Assistant Manager while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires weekday and weekend availability, with a competitive hourly rate and several staff incentives. This position offers opportunities to grow within a fourth-generation family business known for quality and community.

• Tackle small issues independently and elevate larger ones when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.
• Serve customers alongside your team, setting the standard for excellent service.
• Ensure the shop is well-presented, stocked, and inviting throughout the day.
• Complete daily checks and paperwork to keep everything compliant and safe.
• Manage opening and closing duties, tills, cash handling, stock control, and waste management.

Senior Retail Assistant — 30 hour contract | Multi Location - Leven & Kirkcaldy

Are you ready to take the next step in your retail career as a Senior Retail Assistant, where you’ll lead by example, support your team, and gain the skills that put you on the track to management. Job: Senior Retail Assistant. Hours: 30 hours per week. Location: Working in either Leven or Kirkcaldy. Pay: from £13.49 per hour. Please note: This role requires weekday and weekend availability and is therefore not suitable for those in full-time education.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead daily shop routines and ensure smooth trading from open to close.
