Job summary

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 STEP Pharmacist to join a dynamic pharmacy team. You will rotate across Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University Hospital Lewisham and other South East London bases, with rotations through medical and surgical wards and medicines information.

The role focuses on competency-based training over three years, requiring strong communication, interpersonal and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• MPharm degree and GPhC registration required.
• Willingness to enroll on UCL Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice.
• Experience in dispensary and clinical pharmacy services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follow dispensing procedures and maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Dispense and check Outpatients and Inpatients scripts, including clinical trials.
• Counsel patients on medicines and provide pharmaceutical advice.
• Participate in education, CPD activities and audits.
