Job summary

Flexzo Teach seeks a qualified Maths & Science (STEM) Tutor for its Slough centre, with in-person sessions and potential hybrid online teaching. The role focuses on delivering engaging lessons across 11+, GCSE, IGCSE and A‑Level, tailored to diverse learning styles.

Applicants should hold a relevant teaching qualification, UK curriculum knowledge up to GCSE/A‑Level, and at least one year of teaching or tutoring experience. DBS will be required prior to onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE or QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of UK curriculum up to GCSE/A‑Level.
• Ability to travel regularly to the Slough centre for face-to-face sessions.
• Minimum of one year of formal teaching or tutoring experience.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one before onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Maths & Science lessons tailored to different learning styles.
• Teach Maths and Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) for 11+ to GCSE/A‑Level.
• Explain concepts clearly and enable students to build problem-solving skills.
• Prepare students for UK exams (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) with syllabus-aligned plans.
