Job summary

Flexzo Teach in Slough is seeking an English Tutor to deliver high-quality lessons up to A-Level at our dedicated tuition centre, with opportunities for online/hybrid teaching.

The ideal candidate holds a recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, or QTS) and has solid knowledge of the UK English curriculum up to A-Level, along with DBS clearance and at least one year of teaching or tutoring experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent recognized professional teaching qualification (ideally specializing in English or Secondary Education).
• Deep knowledge of the UK English curriculum up to A-Level (Language and Literature).
• Ability to travel regularly to the dedicated tuition centre in the Slough area for face-to-face sessions.
• A minimum of one year of formal teaching or tutoring experience.
• An Enhanced DBS certificate (or willing to obtain one before onboarding).
• Desirable: Master’s degree in English, Creative Writing, or Education.
• Desirable: Direct experience teaching specific exam boards for GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level English.
