Job summary

Flexzo Teach in Slough is seeking a Maths & Science (STEM) Tutor to join our tuition centre for students aged 8–18. The role focuses on in-person delivery at our Slough centre, with opportunities for online/hybrid teaching.

You will deliver Maths and Sciences across GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level and 11+ prep, helping students build confidence and exam readiness. Applicants should hold a relevant teaching qualification (B.Ed./PGCE/QTS), have UK curriculum knowledge up to GCSE/A-Level, be able to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education, PGCE or QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Deep knowledge of the UK Mathematics and/or Science curriculum up to GCSE/A-Level.
• Ability to travel regularly to the Slough area for face-to-face sessions.
• Minimum of one year of formal teaching or tutoring experience.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Maths and Sciences lessons across key stages (11+ to A-Level).
• Explain formulas and theories clearly and enthusiastically.
• Adapt teaching methods to match learners’ pacing and needs.
• Prepare students for UK exam boards using syllabus-aligned plans.
