Dovetail and Slate Ltd in Cambourne is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support students with a range of learning difficulties across engineering, IT, computing and science pathways. This permanent, term-time only role is within the Engineering, Science and Computing department and focuses on empowering students to access STEM curricula with confidence.

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent Level 2 standard).
• Holding or working towards a Level 2 Learning Support Qualification is highly desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or done within last 3 months.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with lecturing staff to adapt classroom resources responsively, enlarging text, modifying carrier language, and utilising enabling technologies.
• Support students both inside and outside the classroom with reading, note-taking, word processing, and metacognitive skill development.
• Empower young people to achieve their personalised learning outcomes, reviewing individual support needs and tracking progress against EHCP goals.
