Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is seeking Learning Support Assistants to support learners across colleges in the UK. The role requires enthusiasm for helping students with additional learning needs and can suit those from education or care backgrounds.

No formal teaching qualifications are required. You will provide 1:1 and group support, assist teachers to create an inclusive environment, and contribute to safeguarding of vulnerable learners.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEN children or young adults.
• Experience in education.
• OR an extensive care background.
• Knowledge of additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 and group support of students with additional learning needs.
• Supporting teachers/lecturers to ensure an inclusive learning environment for SEN students.
• Safeguarding of vulnerable learners.
• Full time and part time hours are available.
• Term time only roles are available also.
