Job summary

The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a JACIE Transplant Quality Administrator to support the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Service at the Swindon site. You will provide administrative and operational support, coordinating appointments, maintaining patient records and assisting with data management to ensure smooth service delivery.

Working closely with the Transplant Quality Team, you will help with quality assurance, regulatory compliance and JACIE

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a multiagency / professional team.
• Experience of business administration.
• An awareness of medical terminology.
• An awareness of chemotherapy regimens.
• Involved with project work and data collection.
• An awareness of JACIE and the stem cell transplant service.
• Previous experience working in the NHS.
• An awareness of SOPs and the process of version control.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to a busy Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Service.
• Coordinate appointments, maintain accurate patient records, support data management and ensure smooth day-to-day running of transplant services.
• Assist with quality assurance and regulatory compliance, including contributing to JACIE accreditation activities, clinical governance processes, audits and the maintenance of service documentation.
• Assist with training events, financial administration, reporting and resource management, helping to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care.
