Job summary

RLE INTERNATIONAL Group is seeking a skilled engineer to support the Steering team, integrating steering systems into the vehicle architecture both mechanically and electrically. You will manage steering content and coordinate with suppliers on parts from make-to-print to full service, aligning with chassis and systems teams for correct specifications, delivery, and testing.

The role spans concept to launch, collaborating with suspension, electrical interfaces, and vehicle dynamics.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering chassis or hardware systems with software integration in automotive context.
• Familiar with Engineering Quality processes and tools (D-FMEA, 6-sigma, 8D).
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet objectives and support other chassis components when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support design and delivery of Steering Systems.
• Coordinate with Lead engineer and teams to define packaging and attribute requirements for steering systems.
• Liaise with suppliers to design and develop systems meeting requirements, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
