Job summary

Singer Vehicle Design is seeking a Senior Chassis Project Engineer to lead the development and integration of chassis systems for its high-performance restorations. You will drive suspension, steering, braking, wheels and tyres, coordinating across engineering teams to meet demanding dynamics targets.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 7+ years in automotive chassis, and excellent communication. Based in the UK, with an emphasis on meticulous quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in automotive chassis engineering.
• Strong understanding of chassis domains and vehicle dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, and integration of chassis systems including suspension, steering, braking, wheels, and tyres.
• Lead chassis projects from concept to production, aligning with performance targets and manufacturing constraints.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Dynamics, Powertrain, Body, and Manufacturing teams to optimise performance.
• Define and execute Design Verification Plan activities, including rig, track, and road testing.
• Support build phases, prototype testing, issue resolution, and sign-off for chassis systems.
