Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer focused on suspension and steering to join our client’s team in Leamington Spa on a contract basis. You will lead technical content, ensure design integrity, and manage cross-functional collaboration across design, validation, and manufacturing teams.

The role requires strong experience in vehicle suspension design, GD&T, DFMEA/DVP&R, and proficiency with CAD tools such as CATIA, Pro/E, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in design, validation, manufacturing, and product release of vehicle systems.
• Experience with commercial vehicle and off-highway is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead suspension design, development, and integration from concept to production.
• Mentor junior engineers and sign off on designs and validation plans.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet technical and program goals.
