Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial is recruiting for a Steel Stockholder in Cradley Heath. The role offers 8am–4pm daytime or a rotating shift, with hourly pay £13.09–£14.50. It is a full-time position on a temporary-to-permanent basis within a busy steel and manufacturing site.

You will receive, check and store steel stock, pick orders for production, and move materials in a heavy industrial setting. FLT and crane experience are required, and accuracy and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in steel stockholding, metal handling or yard work.
• FLT or crane experience is essential.
• Ability to measure and identify different steel products accurately.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store steel stock within a busy warehouse/yard.
• Pick and prepare steel orders for production and despatch.
• Load and unload steel products and materials.
• Maintain accurate stock control and records.
• Follow health & safety procedures.
