Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial seeks a Forklift Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm role in Cradley. You will operate both a counterbalance forklift and an overhead crane to move steel and heavy materials within a manufacturing environment.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, at £13.09 per hour. This position involves loading and unloading raw stock and finished goods, completing paperwork, and maintaining site safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Experience operating a forklift and overhead crane
• Experience handling steel or heavy materials is desirable
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Operate an overhead crane to lift and move steel and heavy materials
• Load and unload steel, sheet metal and other heavy materials
• Complete daily paperwork and stock movements; assist production teams
