Aspire Software Group is seeking a Statutory Reporting & Compliance Manager in the United Kingdom to own audit-ready statutory reporting for all entities. The role ensures segregation of statutory compliance from portfolio teams, enabling focus on performance and cash while deadlines are met.

The candidate will lead audits, oversee local GAAP to IFRS conversions, and set group accounting policies in collaboration with the head of finance. Fluent English and strong communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent).
• 7+ years in statutory reporting, including 3+ years in audit at a Big Four or mid-tier firm.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, especially IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
• Experience with statutory accounts and audits across several jurisdictions, including the US, Europe and APAC.
• Track record of running multiple statutory audits in parallel against fixed deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Prepare or oversee preparation of statutory financial statements for all entities under local GAAP.
• Own the group statutory and filing calendar and meet deadlines.
• Manage local accounting and filing providers where entities are serviced externally.
• Plan and lead statutory audits end to end: timetable, PBC lists, audit files and closing meetings.
• Deliver IFRS conversions and respond to IFRS reporting requests.
• Define minimum statutory standards for month-end close and documentation.
• Coordinate responses to internal audit findings related to statutory reporting.
