Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a newly refurbished commercial office building in Central London. This is a static site with a single engineer on site, supported by mobile engineers 2–3 days per week.

The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems, plant rooms, boilers and chillers, with fault finding and coordination of repairs as needed. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, £50,000.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong multi-skilled building services experience.
• Previous commercial maintenance experience.
• Experience with plant rooms, boilers, chillers and general M&E systems.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive building maintenance.
• Complete PPMs across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Plant room checks and maintenance.
• Work with chillers, boilers and associated building services equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Identify faults and coordinate repairs where required.
• Liaise with contractors and the wider engineering team.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Provide a professional and client-facing service.
