Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a newly refurbished commercial office building in Central London. This is a static site with a single engineer on site, supported by mobile engineers 2–3 days per week.

The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems, plant rooms, boilers and chillers, with fault finding and coordination of repairs as needed. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, £50,000.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong multi-skilled building services experience.
• Previous commercial maintenance experience.
• Experience with plant rooms, boilers, chillers and general M&E systems.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Multi-Skilled Engineer - Static Site

Location: Tottenham Court Road, Central London

Salary: £50,000

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Overtime: Available

Contract: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a newly refurbished commercial office building in the Tottenham Court Road area.

The building has undergone a major refurbishment with new plant and equipment and is currently going through mobilisation.

This is a static, single-engineer site, with additional support from mobile engineers approximately 2-3 days per week.

The Role

• Carry out planned and reactive building maintenance
• Complete PPMs across mechanical and electrical systems
• Plant room checks and maintenance
• Work with chillers, boilers and associated building services equipment
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Identify faults and coordinate repairs where required
• Support the mobilisation of the newly refurbished site
• Liaise with contractors and the wider engineering team
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Provide a professional and client-facing service

There is no engineer call-out requirement, as out-of-hours call-outs are covered by subcontractors.

• Qualified in either electrical or mechanical engineering
