Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing a leading Facilities Management company in Manchester for a Static Multi Skilled Engineer. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across a historic commercial leisure site, servicing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems to ensure safe operation.

The role is permanent, Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, with no call-out rota or overtime requirement. It offers long‑term stability and a commutable location from Manchester and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Experience within Facilities Management or Building Management Services.
• Hands-on mechanical and HVAC maintenance experience.
• Hands-on electrical maintenance experience.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across a commercial leisure facility.
• Maintain all plant, equipment and building systems to statutory standards and service level agreements.
• Service Air Handling Units and HVAC systems, manage electrical tasks and lighting.
• Respond to repairs, inspections and routine tests to ensure safe, efficient operation.
