Job summary

Branta Recruitment Ltd partners with a national facilities management leader to recruit a Static Maintenance Plumber for a prestigious, single-site facility in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will be the resident Plumbing & Mechanical Specialist responsible for keeping water hygiene systems, plumbing infrastructure and plant room pipework running safely and efficiently.

The role offers stability with no daily travel, a fixed site, and opportunities for overtime and progression within a global FM

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or time-served equivalent).
Unvented Hot Water Certification (G3) desirable.
Proven experience in commercial plumbing maintenance or building services FM.

Responsibilities

Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on site.
Maintain water hygiene standards including Legionella control, temperature monitoring and flushing.
Diagnose and repair plumbing faults, leaks, blocked drainage and sanitary appliance issues.
Assist with basic plant room maintenance, pumps and unvented hot water cylinders.
Complete digital job sheets and maintain site compliance logs.
