Job summary

ECG Facilities Services in Aberdeen is seeking a experienced Maintenance Engineer to cover our client site. The role focuses on general HVAC plant maintenance, mechanical and plumbing duties, and on-site problem solving.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in facilities maintenance, knowledge of AHUs, pumps and boilers (non-gas), and familiarity with BMS and CAFM systems. On-site duties include liaising with subcontractors and maintaining health and safety records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in maintenance engineering preferred.
• Experience with air handling units, pumps, heat exchangers and boiler plant (non-gas).
• Knowledge of BMS and lighting control systems preferred.
• Competent using CAFM systems and tablets for logging and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain on-site log books, permits and site paperwork and ensure they are up to date.
• Carry out general HVAC plant maintenance and mechanical & plumbing duties on site.
• Liaise with subcontractors and attend client meetings as required.
• Act as the on-site point of contact for the client and be client-focused.

Hours: 40 hours per week

There is no call out rota with this role

General andHVAC plant maintenance excluding skilled disciplines ie. gas/ac/electrical.

Maintenance, repairs and all general fabric duties and including all other duties including mechanical & plumbing on site.

Health and safety awareness.

To maintain on site log books, permits & site paperwork insuring they are completed and up to date.

Liaise with subcontractors and attend client meetings when required.

The Engineer will be working on site as a point of contact for our client and must be someone who is flexible and is client focussed.

This post will be based on a static role, covering our clients site in Aberdeen.

Skills & Qualifications Required

Ideal candidates will come from a Facilities Maintenance background and worked in similar environment.

We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge of facilities maintenance and ideally over 5 years’ experience in similar Maintenance Engineer type roles.

Knowledge and experience of plant including, but not limited to Air Handling Units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas side pipe work and accessories).

Knowledge and experience of BMS & lighting control systems would be beneficial.

Must be competent in working on CAFM system and using tablet for logging on to jobs and completing compliance paperwork.
