The Supply Register Ltd., in partnership with WAVE Trust, is seeking Teaching Assistants to join their team on temporary, short-term assignments across various year groups. You will work closely with classroom teachers, provide one-on-one support, and help maintain a positive learning environment.

This role offers weekly pay, opportunities for professional development, and a collaborative working environment. DBS checks will be completed as part of safeguarding, with enhanced disclosure required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a teaching assistant or support role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers and parents.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting learning and development.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and classroom settings.
• Qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with delivery of lessons and activities, including setting up resources and materials.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students who may require additional assistance with their learning.
• Support students with SEN by implementing IEPs and accommodations.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other support professionals to ensure the smooth running of the classroom.

Company Overview: The Supply Register are a managed service working in partnership with WAVE Trust.

We are currently seeking dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our team on a temporary basis to cover short-term absences and provide valuable support to our students and teachers.

Position Overview: As a teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to provide essential support to students across various age groups and abilities.

Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with the delivery of lessons and activities, including setting up resources and materials.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional assistance with their learning.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations.
• Help to manage classroom behavior and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
