VolkerLaser is seeking a Stakeholder Liaison Officer to support our National Highways Framework, coordinating across projects in Guildford and Southampton. You will represent VolkerLaser and serve as the central point of contact for customer and stakeholder engagements, delivering clear programme updates and changes.

Responsibilities

• Issue monthly or fortnightly stakeholder updates as the project progresses and hits key milestones / TM phase switches.
• Prepares responses to customer and stakeholder complaints and enquiries.
• Prepares wording for NH webpage updates and works with the NH Comms Team to ensure accuracy of social media posts.
• Support with narrative for MP or Parliamentary briefings.
• Attend site for media interviews and public information events.
• Attends the NH customer/network occupancy meetings every fortnight to provide progress updates.
• Familiarity with Area 3 network and key stakeholders like Hampshire County Council.

About the role

We are recruiting a Stakeholder Liaison Officer to support our National Highways Framework, working across projects located in Guildford and Southampton.

The Stakeholder Liaison will represent VolkerLaser and serve as the central point of coordination for all customer and stakeholder engagements. Working closely with the Volker project team, they will provide clear and timely communication regarding programme developments and any associated changes.

A fantastic opportunity on a fixed-term contract of up to 2 years, offering long-term stability and the chance to make a real impact.

About you

• Issue monthly or fortnightly stakeholder updates as the project progresses and hits key milestones / TM phase switches
• Prepares responses to customer and stakeholder complaints and enquiries.
• Prepares wording for NH webpage updates and works with the NH Comms Team to ensure accuracy of social media posts.
• Support with narrative for any MP or Parliamentary briefings
• Attend site for any media interviews (could involve radio & TV filming / recording).
• Helps organise and plays an active role in Public Information Events, attending in person, in advance of construction.
• Attends the NH customer / network occupancy meeting every fortnight (known as the 'BULB') to give project programme progress updates.
• Ideally someone with familiarity of the Area 3 network and key stakeholders, such as Hampshire County Council
