Job summary

VolkerLaser on-site positions across Perth and Scotland require candidates with construction site experience and a valid CSCS card. You will work on concrete repair, strengthening and related civil works, adhering to health and safety and company procedures. A full UK driving licence is essential for site travel and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on construction sites.
• Experience in concrete repair/strengthening, cathodic protection or civils is advantageous.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Full UK valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of construction and civil engineering tasks across a range of disciplines.
• Operate tools, plant and equipment safely and competently in line with training, instruction and authorisation.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company procedures, method statements and risk assessments.
• Maintain on-site housekeeping and tool care.
• Identify and report hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Comply with health, safety, wellbeing and environmental policies at all times.
• Participate in site briefings, toolbox talks and training activities.
• Represent VolkerLaser professionally with clients and partners.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to support project execution.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of construction and civil engineering tasks across a range of disciplines.
• Operate tools, plant and equipment safely and competently in line with training, instruction and authorisation.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company procedures, method statements and risk assessments.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping on site, including the care and maintenance of tools, plant and work areas.
• Identify and report hazards, near misses, defects or unsafe working conditions.
• Comply with all health, safety, wellbeing and environmental policies and procedures at all times, taking responsibility for your own and others’ safety.
• Participate and actively engage in all site briefings, toolbox talks and training activities.
• Represent VolkerLaser professionally while working with clients, sub-contractors, stakeholders and members of the public.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to support project execution.
