Job summary

Stannah is seeking a qualified Stairlift Engineer to cover a route across Southern Hampshire and Dorset. The role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing domestic stairlifts and home lifts, with working hours 08:00–16:45 Mon–Thu and 08:00–15:45 Fri.

The ideal candidate has NVQ Level 2 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) and proven lift industry experience, plus a valid UK driving licence and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience as Stairlift Engineer or Domestic Engineer within the lift industry.
• A valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance, repair, and call-out visits on a wide range of stairlifts, hoists and home lifts.
• Ensure high-quality service and safety standards.
• Participate in our on-call rota with standby allowance and call-out payment.

Stairlift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance, repair, and call-out visits on a wide range of stairlifts, hoists and home lifts

• Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards.
• Participate in our on-call rota, receiving additional standby allowance and call-out payment on top of a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

Stairlift Engineer Requirements:

• An NVQ level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent preferred but we will train to the NVQ level 2 for the right candidate.
• Proven experience as a Stairlift Engineer or Domestic Engineer within the lift industry
• A valid UK driving licence.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
