Job summary

Global Recruitment Group is recruiting Stainless Steel Fabricators / Sheet Metal Workers for an established company just outside Glasgow. The role involves working with stainless steel and sheet metal, reading engineering drawings, and performing general workshop fabrication.

Experience with Press Brake and Guillotine is required. The position offers up to £21.00 per hour, enhanced overtime, and opportunities for extended hours, with a path from temporary to permanent for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in stainless steel fabrication and sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Comfort working in a shop environment with general fabrication tasks.
• Food manufacturing/food processing experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate stainless steel fabrication and sheet metal processes, including press brake and guillotine.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to guide fabrication.
• Work independently and as part of a team in a workshop setting.
• Be flexible with hours and able to do overtime and weekend work when required.
