Job summary
Global Recruitment Group is recruiting Stainless Steel Fabricators / Sheet Metal Workers for an established company just outside Glasgow. The role involves working with stainless steel and sheet metal, reading engineering drawings, and performing general workshop fabrication.
Experience with Press Brake and Guillotine is required. The position offers up to £21.00 per hour, enhanced overtime, and opportunities for extended hours, with a path from temporary to permanent for suitable candidates.
Qualifications
- Experience in stainless steel fabrication and sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Comfort working in a shop environment with general fabrication tasks.
- Food manufacturing/food processing experience is advantageous but not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate stainless steel fabrication and sheet metal processes, including press brake and guillotine.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to guide fabrication.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a workshop setting.
- Be flexible with hours and able to do overtime and weekend work when required.

Global Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Stainless Steel Fabricators / Sheet Metal Workers for an established company based just outside Glasgow.
Our client works across a variety of industries, with a strong specialism in the food industry, producing high-quality stainless steel fabrication and sheet metalwork.
We are looking for experienced fabricators who are confident working with stainless steel and sheet metal and can hit the ground running.
You must have experience using:
- Press Brake / Brake Press
- Guillotine
- Stainless steel fabrication
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- General workshop fabrication
Experience within the food manufacturing/food processing industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Up to £21.00 per hour
- Enhanced overtime rates
- CIS or Umbrella PAYE
- Excellent opportunity for lots of hours
- 7 days' work available
- The more hours/days you are available to work, the better
- Temporary to Permanent opportunity for the right candidates
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail.
You should be:
- Experienced in stainless steel fabrication
- Confident operating a Press Brake and Guillotine
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and flexible with working hours
- Available for regular overtime and weekend work where required
