Job summary

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is seeking casual Assistant Theatre Technicians for The Town House Hamilton. The role focuses on setting up and operating sound, lighting and PA systems to support live performances and events.

You will assist with stage sets and AV equipment and help ensure smooth deliveries of shows. Evening and weekend work is typical, with occasional daytime shifts; a positive team player is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical department, preferably theatre or performance venue.
• Ability to set up and operate sound, lighting and PA systems.
• Willingness to support various live events and productions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sound, lighting and PA systems
• Assist with stage sets and audio-visual equipment
• Support the delivery of performances and events
• Undertake get-ins and get-outs
• Carry out stage crew and technical support duties
