Job summary

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is seeking Facilities Assistants for The Town House Hamilton to support events, bar service, and hospitality. You will help with setup, service, and customer care in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are evenings and weekends on a casual basis, with a focus on delivering excellent visitor experiences while maintaining hygiene and safety standards throughout all events.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
• Aged 18 or over.

Responsibilities

• Serve drinks and food during events.
• Set up and clear bar and function areas.
• Operate cash and cashless payment systems.
• Assist with customer care, ticket checking, and seating.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Support health & safety, licensing requirements, and emergency procedures.
