Job summary

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture in Hamilton is seeking enthusiastic Assistant Theatre Technicians to support live performances, events and community activities at The Town House Hamilton.

You will set up and operate sound, lighting and PA systems, assist with stage sets and AV equipment, and help with get-ins and get-outs while maintaining a safe, efficient workspace. Roles are evenings and weekends with occasional daytime work.

Are you passionate about live events, theatre, and technical production? We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Theatre Technicians to support the delivery of performances, productions, and events within The Town House Hamilton.

About the Role

Your duties will include:

• Setting up and operating sound, lighting and PA systems

• Carrying out a range of stage crew and technical support duties

It is essential that you have experience of working within a technical department, preferably within a theatre or performance venue.

Working Pattern

This role is ideal for those who enjoy the excitement of live events. Working hours will be predominantly evenings and weekends, including some late finishes. There may also be opportunities for occasional daytime work.
