Job summary

Paddle is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to lead, design, and automate our IT and security infrastructure. You will own IAM, network, and cloud security tooling, building scalable solutions and auditable change delivery in a remote-friendly environment.

You will mentor peers across InfoSec and IT, collaborate on enterprise technology initiatives, and help ensure compliance with industry standards while enhancing reliability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on delivery in IT and security domains.
• Experience with cloud security, IAM, monitoring, and AWS.
• Familiar with CIS Benchmarks, SOC 2, PCI DSS and compliance controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation of operational processes to improve reliability, scalability, and security.
• Design and optimise integrations across IT and security systems.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code for identity, network, and security tooling.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
