Job summary

Dex is partnering with a group rebuilding the UK residential lettings market by acquiring agencies and migrating portfolios to an AI-powered platform. You will take technical ownership of one core engineering domain, stay in code, and ship production-grade agentic systems that automate tenant management, financial reconciliations, and maintenance logistics.

You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, and work closely with product to deconstruct legacy workflows while delivering

Qualifications

• Staff/Lead Engineer with end-to-end ownership of complex, mission-critical systems.
• Deep hands-on TypeScript with Node.js backend and React frontend.
• Experience deploying AI/LLM tooling or agentic workflows in production.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and scale a vertical domain end-to-end for Tenant Find, Property Management, or Payments.
• Deploy AI and agentic systems into production to automate tenant management, reconciliations, and logistics.
• Design data migration and platform infra to port acquired portfolios quickly.
• Write production-grade TypeScript across the full stack and mentor engineers.
