Substrate Bio Ltd is building an AI-native automated laboratory infrastructure. You will join a small elite team to implement the software layer that turns scientist intent into runnable workflows, schedules lab work, and captures provenance as structured data.

You’ll work across the stack, from data ingestion and ontologies to APIs and orchestration, with ownership of end-to-end delivery. This hybrid London role integrates software with hardware in a cutting-edge bio-lab environment.

Formación

• Shipped production systems that other teams depend on.
• Front-to-back ownership including reliability and observability.
• Experience across the stack with a focus on backend services and APIs

Responsabilidades

• Build the infrastructure software that runs the lab across the stack.
• Translate customer intent into executable workflows and orchestrate lab runs.
• Ensure full provenance and audit logging for every run.
• Own your surface end-to-end including reliability and on-call
