Job summary

Affiirm is seeking a Staff Product Manager to shape the next generation of the Comms Platform, spanning modernization and shared capabilities across transactional and marketing communications.

You will partner with Engineering and teams across Product, Marketing, Ops, Design, Analytics, and Legal to set direction and translate it into capabilities teams can adopt, balancing tradeoffs and deciding build vs buy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management leading complex products.
• Experience building platform/technically complex products.
• Strong product judgment turning ambiguity into strategy.
• Technical fluency; partner with Engineering on architecture and reliability.
• Proven adoption after launch across teams.
• Cross-functional influence and alignment.
• Analytical and business judgment weighing customer impact and risk.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Customer-first mindset focused on platform experience.
• Comfort with ambiguity and iterative learning.

Responsibilities

• Set product strategy and roadmap for Comms Plat, connecting customer needs, business priorities, and technical opportunities.
• Modernize comms infrastructure and build shared capabilities for consistency across transactional and marketing comms.
• Lead complex platform initiatives from strategy through launch and adoption.
• Build relationships across Affiirm for product needs in new products, markets, and journeys.
• Shape channel, platform, and partner strategy; build-versus-buy decisions across the communications ecosystem.
• Make tradeoffs across experience, reliability, scalability, cost, regulatory, and speed.
• Define measures of success using customer, product, operational, and business signals to guide priorities and investment.
