Job Title: Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse

Up to £34,250 pro-rata, depending on skills and experience

25 hours per week

Role Overview

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will be an integral part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service. Your role involves assessing patients prior to surgery, providing reassurance and high-quality care, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments before surgery
• Work with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely assessments
• Provide comfort, reassurance, and high standards of care to patients and their families
• Support the needs of each patient with empathy and professionalism
• Develop your skills with new practices, equipment, and facilities
• Collaborate with practitioners across departments to maintain seamless patient care

Qualifications and Experience

You must be registered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC) and possess relevant qualifications and post-registration experience. You should be a team player with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
