Our departmentoffers pre-operative assessment, consultant led clinics and minor proceduresacross multiple specialties such as gynaecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics,general surgery, ENT andvUrology.
We are looking for anexceptional Staff Nurse with excellent clinical skills in minor procedures & diagnostics. Strong communication skills & interpersonal skills are a must.
Working shifts are between thehours of 08.00-20.30 Monday to Saturday. Flexibility is required.

The post holder will work as a team member within the department by carrying out tasksinvolving the direct/indirect care of patients ensuring that appropriatedirection, supervision and control is used when in charge of the shift &junior members of the team. Depending on the Outpatient activity there may bean element of loan working involved.

The post holders will be expected towork across all areas of Spencer Private hospitals within their role remit
To contribute to the maintenance of patientcare standards and to assist with the implementation of changes to caredelivery systems, methods and nursing practice in order to bring aboutimprovements in the quality of care
To contribute to the development andimplementation of nursing standards which reflect customer requirements andprofessional best practice
Carry out planned care for a groupof patients without direct supervision providing individualised patient care
Provide professional leadership,advice and guidance within the team, working collaboratively with themultidisciplinary team
Assist and advise staff bothregistered and unregistered in the delivery of patient care
Maintain accurate andcontemporaneous patient records in line with professional standards
Have responsibility for theadministration and custody of medicines in line with Spencer Private Hospitals(SPH) policy and professional standards
Assist in the maintenance ofprofessional standards, highlighting to the line manager when standards are notseen to be met
Uphold the corporate values of SPH
