Staff Nurse – Pre-Assessment

Brighton Hospital | Nursing | Permanent | Part-time

Up to £34,250 pro-rata, depending on skills and experience

25 hours per week

As a Staff Nurse in our hospital, you’ll be attentive, focused, detail-oriented, and empathetic. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC registration. With post-registration experience, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:

• Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service.
• As the first point of contact, work with leading professionals to make accurate assessments for patients prior to surgery.
• Demonstrate broad knowledge and assessment skills to ensure quality patient care.
• Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family.
• Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care.
• Build your experience across new practices, equipment, and facilities.
• Collaborate with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key.

Facilities include 44 en-suite rooms, 3 operating theatres plus 1 endoscopy theatre, physiotherapy, and diagnostic departments. Located in Woodingdean, Brighton, with easy access by rail and road, including free parking.
