Job summary

Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital is seeking an Outpatients Staff Nurse to join our team on a part-time, ad-hoc basis. You will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in Outpatients clinics and assist with a range of procedures.

You must be a registered nurse with NMC; post-registration outpatient experience is advantageous. We offer a supportive environment with pension benefits and a discounted gym membership as part of our benefits package.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred.
• Ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care in Outpatients services.
• Care for a varied caseload and assist with clinics and procedures.
• Support continuity of care by coordinating with other teams.
• Demonstrate empathy and reassure patients and families.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold safety standards.

As an Outpatients Staff Nurse, you will:

• Show your passion for delivering excellent patient care
• Working in a busy and fast environment you will manage a varied and interesting caseload in Outpatients services
• Take part in a wide range of procedures, manage clinics and apply your extensive clinical skills to aid recovery
• Instinctively meet the needs of patients and their families, offering comfort and reassurance
• Work with practitioners in other areas to ensure continuity in patient care
• Enjoy more time to care and get to know your patients
