Job summary

Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse in Outpatients on a bank, part-time basis, including weekend work. You will be registered with the relevant body (NMC) and bring post-registration experience to our outpatient service.

This role involves managing a varied caseload, applying clinical skills, coordinating with other practitioners, and delivering compassionate patient care. Bank shifts offer ad-hoc hours to fit the business needs and your availability.

• Post-registration experience preferred.

As a Staff Nurse in Outpatients at our Haywards Heath Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body. You bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You’re also motivated to understand each case from a technical and personal viewpoint. And you hold post-registration experience.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

About the Hospital

Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital, opened in 1993 and close to the centre of Haywards Heath, provides a wide range of medical services from minor procedures through to major surgical specialties. With three operating theatres – 1 is laminar flow, comprehensive outpatient facilities including a 3T MRI scanner, an excellent onsite pre-assessment clinic, physiotherapy department and 26 en-suite rooms on the ward. Ours is a well-planned hospital with a clean, modern environment.
