Job summary

Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse - Outpatients (Bank) to join an award-winning team in Taunton. You will be alert, empathetic and focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a busy Outpatients environment.

As a bank nurse, you are not contracted to fixed hours but provide flexible, ad hoc support to meet clinical demand. NHS/NMC registration with post-registration experience is preferred, supporting high-quality patient care across clinics and procedures.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC).
• Post-registration experience in nursing preferred.

• Show your passion for delivering excellent patient care
• Working in a busy and fast environment you will manage a varied and interesting caseload in Outpatients services
• Take part in a wide range of procedures, manage clinics and apply your extensive clinical skills to aid recovery
• Instinctively meet the needs of patients and their families, offering comfort and reassurance
• Work with practitioners in other areas to ensure continuity in patient care
• Enjoy more time to care and get to know your patients

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
