Job summary

Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join our ward team on a bank ad-hoc basis. The role is part-time and includes weekend work, with pay at £13.00 per hour.

You will support Registered Nurses and consultants, undertake administrative duties, and help maintain exceptional patient care standards in a busy hospital environment. Training and development opportunities are available within our healthcare charity.

Qualifications

• Good telephone manner and strong computer and database skills.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care with relevant experience in acute hospital or care setting.
• Experience in a ward or hospital environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Put patient care first

• Engage with patients to understand their needs and provide compassionate support

As a Support Worker on the ward at our hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. You will need to be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
