You will need to be a hardworking and motivated team player committed to delivering high standards of patient-centered care, with excellent communication skills, a flexible attitude, and a commitment to your own personal development. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in an acute setting.
Previous endoscopy experience is advantageous but not essential, as training and competency assessments are provided. The post involves working within a large, dynamic team including Nurse Endoscopists, Gastroenterology Consultants, Colorectal/Upper GI Surgical Consultants, and a sizable nursing and HCSW team.
This role requires an active UK NMC Registration

Poole Hospital Endoscopy Unit has 3 procedure rooms. Royal Bournemouth Hospital has 3 procedure rooms, and Wimborne has 1.
Services include diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI procedures, respiratory procedures like bronchoscopy, EBUS, and thoracoscopy, as well as complex procedures such as Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and participation in the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
